Matt Nixon
CEO
Matt Nixon is the CEO and started with American at the age of 14 as summer help with the termite crew. Under the leadership of Matt’s father and current President Jay Nixon, American Pest Management has experienced steady growth over the past 20 plus years. In 2006 American Pest Management is expected to top the 6 million dollar mark in gross revenues. In 2005 American Pest Management was ranked by Pest Control Technology Magazine the 82nd largest Pest Management Company in the United States. Matt is expected to be one of many leaders at American Pest Management in the coming years.
Serving as a consultant to the US Department of State, Overseas Building Operations section Matt has visited over 20 U.S. Embassies or Consulate posts around the world providing support and training for their pest management programs. Matt also retains his former technician’s position for one high profile account, 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. Matt has been treating or monitoring the White House for termites since 1998.
Matt received his B.A. in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in biology and business, with a double Major in history from Columbia Union College (1999). He also has held a number of positions within the National Pest Management Association. Matt is currently the Chair of the Public Heath Committee, a member of the Quality Pro Board of Directors, and a member of the Leadership Development Group.
