How Our Three-Step Mosquito & Tick Control Program Works
Step #1
A THOROUGH INSPECTION
An American Pest professional armed with the knowledge and biology of mosquitoes and ticks will conduct a complete inspection of your yard and surrounding property to identify where mosquitoes reside and breed. We will also identify potential insect harborages and conditions that lend themselves to mosquitoes and ticks around your home.
Step #2
MOSQUITO & TICK TREATMENT
Your technician will use a specialized misting system that applies a repellent treatment to foliage areas around your property, paying special attention to bushes, shrubs, boundary lines, and other areas that retain moisture. Treatments are performed once a month during peak periods of mosquito and tick activity.
Step #3
TREATMENT OF MOSQUITO BREEDING AREAS
We'll limit mosquito populations by treating breeding areas with a biological mosquito larvicide that stops the development of larvae at its source! Minimizing mosquito breeding using a combination of larvacides and insect growth regulators begins as early as March and continues through October.
